Board Of Directors

The first election for the Board of Directors was held for 2024.  Following is the Board  for the Fairways Edge Property Owners Association:

Kristopher Mercer - President - 2 year term

Mack Skipper Dorman - Vice President - 1 year term

Karen Campbell - Secretary/Treasurer - 3 year term

 The Board of Directors is responsible for the overall management and administration of the Property Owners Association (POA). Some of the key responsibilities of the board include:

Setting the budget: The board is responsible for creating and managing the POA's budget, including determining how much money is needed to maintain the property and cover expenses.

Enforcing Bylaws: The board is responsible for enforcing the bylaws of the POA and ensuring that all members comply with the rules and regulations of the community.

Hiring and supervising staff: The board is responsible for hiring and supervising any staff that work for the POA, such as property managers, lawn crew, and maintenance workers.

Making decisions on behalf of the POA: The board is responsible for making decisions on behalf of the POA, such as entering into contracts with vendors, making purchases, and pursuing legal action.

Representing the interests of the members: The board is responsible for representing the interests of the members of the POA and making decisions that benefit the community as a whole.

Planning for the future: The board is responsible for developing and implementing plans for the future of the community, such as planning for infrastructure improvements, capital projects, and long-term financial planning.
