We hope everyone will be pleased to know the entrance sign for Fairways Edge will be installed tomorrow. It has been a long time coming but it is finally arriving. We are in the process of having the landscape lights and overhead light repaired and hope this will be completed within the next few weeks. In the meantime, we may use some temporary lights to spotlight the sign.
Also an FYI, garbage pickup will be on Friday. It is not affected by the holiday.

Per the Covenants & Restrictions, all pets must be contained on the lot of the owner. Pets must be leashed and not permitted on another property owner's lot. Per the Camden County Leash Law: "All pets must be restrained to their owner's property by fence, leash, or other appropriate measure. Animals may not leave the owner's property unless properly leashed and accompanied by a responsible person." "Please remember when walking your dog(s), you are required to remove and dispose of any feces your animal deposits."

Coastal Greenery will be mowing every other week beginning this week. The right side of Spyglass, Pinehurst Road and Amenity Way was mowed this week. The left side of Spyglass and Masters Way will be mowed next week. Mowing will be done on Thursdays. This schedule will continue until further notice.

Per the Declaration of Covenants and Restrictions, Article VI, the attached Architectural Guidelines will be part of the documents governing Fairways Edge. The guidelines, along with the Architectural Modification Form can be found on the website under the Documents & Forms tab.
The purpose of the architectural guidelines is to maintain architectural and environmental standards of the community and ensure that residents continue to enjoy an attractive and appealing living area. The Board of Directors will be responsible for the procedures outlined in the architectural guidelines. If it becomes obvious that an Architectural Review Committee is needed, one will be appointed by the Board of Directors.
The intent of the architectural guidelines is to maintain the entire development in harmony while still allowing opportunity for individual expression and general community improvement. Compliance with these guidelines will protect, preserve and enhance property values.
The Architectural Modification Form should be submitted for any and all modifications. Work may not be started until an approval is received.

Because no one has stepped forward to chair the Landscape Violation Committee, this task falls on the Board of Directors. After driving through the neighborhood, it was noted there are numerous property owners who have shrub beds to clean up. Since this is another time-consuming job for the Board to take on, we are asking property owners to look around their property and correct all violations within the next 10 days. After 10 days, those property owners who have not made corrections will receive violation letters.
Per the Covenants & Restrictions, property owners are responsible for maintaining shrub beds. This includes those surrounding your house and the ones you share with your neighbor in front of your house. Weeds should be removed and mulch, pine straw or rocks should be applied. All debris must be removed, including anything outside fences.

The Board of Directors has entered into a contract with Albertie Contracting, LLC to complete sidewalk repairs. Sidewalks affected are located on North Spyglass, the corners of Spyglass and Masters Way, and Masters Way. Please avoid these areas while the work is being performed and until the barricades are removed. Work is scheduled to begin on Monday, October 2. It is anticipated the repairs will take approximately 5 days. If you encounter any problems, please contact the Board of Directors.

Due to the potential of severe weather, Coastal Greenery has advised they will be mowing all yards tomorrow. They will only mow and not edge. Coastal will return after the storm to do the edging.
We have been trying to contact the city of Kingsland regarding the pick up of yard debris that is at the curb. If the city does not pick up your debris by tomorrow afternoon, you will be responsible to remove it from the street so it does not pose a problem with clogging drains or become a projectile.
Also, please secure your garbage cans, lawn furniture, decorations, and etc. so they do not become flying objects.

It is too early to speculate on any direct impacts from the tropical disturbance in the northwest Caribbean Sea. At this time, sensible precautions would be to use the weekend to secure any objects which might be blown around and prune weaker limbs from trees. Secure objects which might be washed into drainage areas should heavy rainfall develop.
First and foremost, sign up for Code Red at camdencountyga.gov for the latest local updates. Be sure you have your medications. Prepare your emergency kit with a three day supply of food and water along with all necessary supplies. Don't forget to have enough food and water for your pets.

The mowing and spraying schedules have been revised. Starting this week, mowing will be done on Tuesdays and Wednesdays each week. The spraying service will be done the second week of each month on Thursday and Friday.
Irrigation systems must be turned off and gates unlocked between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm on these days.

Coastal Greenery will begin mowing tomorrow starting with the front and common areas at 7:00 am. They will then proceed mowing the yards. Two crews will be used tomorrow so everything will be completed in one day. Someone from Coastal will be placing signs in the yards that will not be mowed. This will be done either today or tomorrow.
The plan is to mow on Wednesdays and Thursdays beginning next week. We will let you know if this changes.

The Board of Directors has reached an agreement with Coastal Greenery to provide lawn service to Fairways Edge. Coastal Greenery will begin service on August 3rd. Mowing days will be Thursday and Friday but will eventually change to Wednesday and Thursday. We will let you know when the days are scheduled to change.
The yard treatment service will remain the same.

REMINDER - The first payment for your 2023 assessment of $625 or full payment of $1,250 is due July 26, 2023. If no payment is received within 10 days of this date, a delinquency fee of 10% will be applied and payable in full immediately as outlined in the Declaration of Covenants & Restrictions, Article V, Section 6 (b) (i).
